Latex or foam products are unfit for use in Lavital beds. These sponge-like materials cannot ensure an optimal air circulation and can heat up uncomfortably during the night. Moreover, they pulverise because of the natural salts in the body produces, resulting in degeneration and a shorter life expectancy for the mattress or top mattress. Foam products are synthetic, not durable and are produced with toxic chemical processes.
For instance to become a latex mattress, sulfur and ammonia are used.
