“Our personalized boxspring shows we constantly strive for a higher quality, comfort and no-nonsense concepts for our customers”, says Frans Segers, founder and managing director of Vital Bedden. “We believe in an honest product, tailor-made beds and, above all, no mass-production.”
Enterprising is in our blood. The Segers are and old tanners family from Antwerp. Following in his forebears’ footsteps, Frans Segers was trained and educated in the ancient skill of tannery and fur working. Designing, innovating, pioneering and producing traditional, high-quality, long-lasting natural products is his passion.
He understands that every person is unique.
He understands that only natural materials are virtually everlasting.
He is the leading producer of high-quality tailor-made beds, characterized by a distinguishing fresh approach.
This was his mission when Frans Segers established himself in the village of Zwaag. His first establishment of the leading personalized bed workshop and store was built here. Having grown so much the first workshop had become too small, in 2004 the Vital Bedden moved to a premises five times the size of the previous accommodation. New employees were recruited.
The key to our success is the relaxed atmosphere and trust in one another. Frans Seger’s mission became a collective mission: continuously striving for higher quality, better comfort, new customer concepts and taking each customer more than 100% seriously.
You can see and feel for yourself how the tailor-made bed is manufactured, an experience unique in the Netherlands. You do not solely have to rely on our story, or to let yourself be guided by image… You can experience our passion, quality and craftsmanship in our workshop and store at the Corantijn 28a in Zwaag.
