American skin specialist chooses Lavital bed
The first weekend of February the traditional bed workshop Lavital in Zwaag (The Netherlans, EU) welcomed two American customers. They had come all the way from Chicago to just buy a bed at Lavital!
Frans Segers and his team are used to receiving customers from far and near.
After all, Lavital's product is unique: hand-built beds made from natural materials.
Each bed is adjusted to the customer's personal needs, wishes and requirements.
But Scott L. Zahner and his friend Mike's arrival was a first: never before had anyone crossed the Atlantic to buy a Lavital bed.
And what makes it extra special: Scott is a dermatologist. He runs a skin clinic in Chicago with his sister. His choice for a Lavital was not only based on the conviction that a bed made from natural materials means a healthy night's rest and a fresh start in the morning, his medical background has also helped him decide on a Lavital product.
His choice fell upon the Safier bed base with a beech frame, Lux mattresses and Lux top mattresses, Lavital collection's very top quality products, with Camel's wool in them.
To celebrate the festive occasion, the Lavital bed makers offered the two friends a lunch in a nearby restaurant. The Americans spent the night in a hotel in Amsterdam, and flew back to Chicago the next Sunday.
When they had arrived home they informed the staff by e-mail how impressed they had been by the company and the collection.
The visitors already had a connection with the Netherlands; they know dressage rider Anky van Grunsven. Their clinic sponsors the Olympic dressage team. They also own several dressage horses themselves.
